The Search Light is a great effect when working with a band.

Variable speed. Slow for one effect. Fast for a different effect. Experiment.

Good
Thanks for quick reply
The motors, was the best speed about 1rps(60rpm)?

Yea, Those are EXACTLY what you want. One should be enough, and don’t just use the center… That won’t do much. You want to be off center, and the further away the greater the beam movement. Good Luck.

Will these work?
ebay nr. 300289864330
And then cut out the center if the lens?

Yes. Find them in bookstores as ‘page magnifiers’. Flat plastic magnifying lenses.

I have about 7 videos showing you how to do a lot of things with lasers. Don’t forget ‘Laser hacked Ipod”.
If you want more I have a book…

It was a nice little effect that I bought at Spencer Gifts. It’s a concave mirror with a ball hanging from a thread. The ball moves back and forth and the reflected image moves in an opposite motion. You could probably make one yourself with a make-up mirror. Good luck.

Sorry. All lasers look better with smoke, especially with many of these effects. If you had a laser that could be seen that clearly, you wouldn’t want to be pointing at people with eyes. The beams from REAL powerful lasers (melt steel) can’t be seen anyway.

why dont you just get the lasers that you can see in the air rather than getting the smoke and stuff
