oh yeah, like I drink expensive voss all the time. Very disapointing I thought she was gonna make a dual panel with water in the middle. I’d love to see that work in Phoenix which has night temps of 90 degrees or more, yeah more heat at night.

In direct sunlight, you can even burn down your house with magnifying glass effect.

Doesn’t that defeat the point of a window? To look outside without being outside?

Plants use both O2 and CO2 for different processes. Most algae need oxygen to grow. When the DO of the water drops past a certain point, algae starts something akin to anaerobic respiration. This process is what gives some ponds a sulfur smell.

If you want to prevent algae from growing in the bottles, put a little alcohol or bleach in the water too.

Since they are in bottles where air can’t flow is in not very likely that algae will form. Algae also needs nitrates to feed on so it won’t have a food source.

Wow, what a hideous structure lol. Plus, surely the plants would rot without co2?

    I just thought the same:
. so what’s the point of having a window when you cannot see through it clearly?

    XD

Well that is a downer :( but I’d assume they’re not permanent and you should change them out after a few months. Food coloring would look cool in there too! (Or maybe you could add something in the water like rubbing alcohol to keep algae from growing)
