Ever wonder how magazine like photos are taken ! Did photography interests you ? And you cant make any huge investment right now for camera, lights etc. ? Sometimes placing the light and adjusting it becomes more important than what kind of light is being used. This is an example of using a small parabolic reflector for beauty style headshots. This is probably not the best example, and the parabolic reflectors are generally much larger than this one. But you might understand that just an ordinary cardboard reflector with aluminum foil pasted on the reflecting side, can produce pretty good results.
